A Postdoctoral Research Associateship administered by the National Research
Council is available with the Environmental Isotope Geochemistry Group of
the Water Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey in Reston,
Virginia. Research opportunities cover a wide spectrum of laboratory and
field studies. Examples include identification of fundamental processes in
isotope hydrology and contaminant transport and in
ground-water/surface-water interaction studies. U.S. citizenship is
required. Final applications must be postmarked by Jan. 15, 2001. Stipend
