Kendra T.,

1. It helps to use a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil, i.e. one of the
cookie sheets with edges (about $5) at
the grocery store.

2. Contact the nearest machine shop, a university shop will do. Ask the
shop foreman for several sources of
stainless steel type 316 parts. This is probably the cheapest way to go
and you'll get a box of 50 to 100.
Good to cover all future mishaps. Well, almost.

 Good luck.

G. Martin

Hello -

In cleaning the source of our Finnigan delta plus XL, one of the
small screws escaped. I'm certain this is not a rare occurrence!

Has anyone been successful using screws from eye glass repair kits,
or the like, as substitutes? And, does anyone have the Finnigan
replacement part # handy (for the smallest screw)?

Thanks,
Kendra
