Hello all,
I am looking into the feasibility of analyzing d13C and d15N in animal
tissues (bone, hair, liver, etc.) that have been preserved in formaldehyde
or alcohol. Is there anyone out there with some experience in this? Can you
point me to some references? My rummaging through the literature didn't
produce anything.

Both seem pretty volatile and hydrophilic -- would multiple soaks and
drying do the trick?

Many thanks,

David Dettman
