We have a GEO with WES purchased from PDZ Europa U.K..It is now 2years still
using the same platinum sticks we bought from PDZ.I clean them with Methanol
Chemically Pure,low in Acetone and dry them for one and half hour in an oven
set at 130 degrees centigrade.
I once experieced some difficulties in equilibration, some sticks failed to
catalyze the reaction and those reacted , gave flakey results but at that time
I was using Acetone to clean them.I therefore decided to use Methanol again and
the problem was solved.Hope this helps.
