Hello Frank Pawellek.
We met last summer on the GES-IV in Ilkley. I started a new project: d13C and d34S in
organic matter in peat profiles, now. All sample of OM I wash in 4% HCl, and in distilled
water, and dry in vacuum. The another treatment is a wash in H3PO4 (Showers W.J. and
Angle D.G 1986 Stable isotopic characterization of organic carbon accumulation on the
Amazon continental shelf. Cont.Shelf Res. 6, 227-244.) Our laboratory has been using NBS22
standard (d13C=-29.81). Now we started to calibrate a new lab standard (graphite) by using
NBS22 and UA-BCLV-132 Modern Alaska white Spruce, Holocellulose and MZ1 (East
Kilbride) (d13C -15.87). We would like to measure your cellulose standard.
