Dear List members:
We are currently working on a project involving the nutritional ecology of
extinct bears. I am concerned that exogenous material may have infiltrated
the bone matrix; consequently, I'm looking for a lab (commercial or
otherwise) that has experience analyzing the purity of bone collagen. As I
understand it the main assays are C:N ratio and amino acid composition. I
have less than 10 samples and it would be easiest to simply send them to the
"experts" to be done.
Thanks in advance for any information you guys may have.
Michael
