Paul,
You could purchase a Polycom ViaVideo camera - Ebay has one in auction for
$130. right now:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3763&item=5110884430&
rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW. Then, if the student has a computer and broadband they
could connect to the Polycom at Otter Valley - or any of the high schools
that have the VILN equipment, for that matter - and have interactive video
over IP from their house. Get in touch with me if you want more info on how
to do this.

Subject: Closed Circuit TV or messenger with a webcam?
Importance: Low

Sorry, about the double posts.

Does anyone have experience with closed circuit TV?

I have been asked to set this up for a student that can't come to school.

I would be happy to help, but don't know where to start.

This brings to mind something like messenger and a quality webcam? Does
anyone have experience with this?

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Paul Wood
