In reply to the question of who has the Integrationist endorsement - I
have one. I believe I was among the first group to get through the
transcript review group since I had completed the MAT degree program from
the Marlboro Graduate center and they had the wisdom to map their courses
and our course work to the certification standards and requirements.
At the time I got mine, I expressed a willingness to act on a peer review
team (since there were only a few of us who had transcripts to map, I
figured the number of peers for the peer review would be slim). I have not
heard nothing and have no idea about how many others have followed since
then.
My position of Technology Coordinator does not (in the job description or
requirements) state the need for the certification. I have seen a number
of tech positions advertised in various areas of the State but have not
seen any requirement for holding the TI specialist certification. Seems
like it may be a while before it is actually viewed as something relevant.
