We have had pretty decent experience with Dell laptops here at Vermont
Institutes. Have had a few issues, but nothing that we couldn't cover
under warranty, (we took 3 year programs) and they have been pretty
responsive when we had to call in the tech for replacement parts....
I would also recommend internal wireless cards, those have been the only
glitchy piece... they end up getting broken sticking out on the side as
they do...I think at this point though, you can't get an external.. I
could be wrong...
If you have Smartboards in your building though, you will need to buy USB
Smartboard cables, as the newer Dells we purchased didn't come with Serial
ports only USB 2, which is kinda nice anyhow...
