Jane,
Do a sherlock search on "macintosh firewall" and you will get a bunch
of sites to check. Among them
http://www.firewallguide.com/macintosh.htm seems to be the most
complete with reviews and links to find or buy and lots of good
documentation to read. You can always upgrade to OS X and use its built
in firewall too.
