Hello Ag Forum members,

I thought I would send the first e-mail to the listserv to try to get some conversation started. I received the following e-mails about farm land that is available for use. I'm hoping Bushrod Powers has signed up on this listserv, but if he hasn't yet, I've included his e-mail address so interested farmers can contact him.

"Balla Machree would love to hear from anyone wishing to use our pasture and or hay fields. We even have a sugarbush to discuss. I guess that is Farmer/Landowner relations. Cheers, Bushrod"
(So. Royalton, [log in to unmask])

Also,
"Land available in the town of Plainfield (Vermont), for pasture for the
summer of 2008. Present accommodations will serve roughly twenty animal
units. The available acreage is fenced, with water. Shelter is also
available for over wintering. If interested, or know someone who might be,
please reply. 802 454 7888. Thank you."

Feel free to ask questions or post information that is pertinent to the agricultural community.

Cathy Emmons
