I hope Campus Kitchens didn't have anything to do with hurricane Sandy,
cause we sure have been cooking up a storm!! I know at least i'm well
prepared, because the involvement of you CKP volunteers has been blowing
me away all semester!
Looking to sign up for November shifts and keep the volunteer karma
flowing?? Well wait no longer! We are now looking for volunteers for the
following days;
Tuesday from 430-700 at the Winooski Teen Center: Nov. 6th and 27th
Thursday from 530-730 in the Marche Kitchen: Nov. 1st, 8th and 29th
Sunday from 900-1230 at the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf: Nov. 4th 11th
and 18th.
And we are also offering one extra Tuesday shift, however this one will be
located in the MAT building on Athletic Campus. It will take place from 430-
600 and will involve packing lunches in preparation for Hunger and
Homelessness Month.
Please let me know if you are available for one, or two or any of the shifts!!
No cooking experience necessary!
Also keep your eyes peeled for an email about CKP participation in the Food
Stamp Challenge with Hunger Free Vermont. We will be hosting a pot luck
meeting during Hunger and Homelessness week to help you all participate in
the Food Stamp Challenge on your own! For more information, please visit

Hope all of your Halloween are full of more treats then tricks, stay indoors
tonight and be safe! Might be the perfect night for some pumpkin carvings
right? Post your jack'o'lantern photos to our facebook page so we can check
them out! http://www.facebook.com/campuskitchen.uvm?fref=ts
