Hello everyone,
Are you looking for a summer internship to build your resume?
Are you looking for a way to get involved in both your community and UVM
activities?
The Campus Kitchen Project at UVM is offering two full-time internship
positions entitled Garden Intern and Nutrition Intern, and one part-time
internship position entitled Volunteer Intern. Detailed descriptions of
these positions and application materials are attached to this email.
The Campus Kitchen Project at UVM is a nonprofit organization with the
motto "Teach. Reach. Feed. Lead." We lead four shifts on a weekly basis
cooking and serving food at the Teen Center in Winooski and the Chittenden
Emergency Food Shelf in Burlington. We also organize cooking and nutrition
classes at four different community locations to spread the word about
nutrition education and knowledge. In addition to these shifts and
classes, we organize events on campus such as Hunger and Homelessness
Awareness Week and Food Summit (including our ever-popular Battle of the
Campus Chefs!).
We are very proud of our organization and what we do for our community, and
we are looking for a few enthusiastic people to continue making Campus
Kitchen as wonderful as it is! Please feel free to email us with any
questions at [log in to unmask] <https://webmail.uvm.edu/imp/#> and
applications for all three of the summer internship positions are due by
email no later than March 30th.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Campus Kitchen UVM
