Hello,
The Romance Languages Department in conjunction with the Office of
Continuing Education is offering an elementary Spanish class for
Social Work and Health (Section Z1,3 credits) during the fall 2008
semester. This class is designed for social work, nursing, and medical
students/faculty and people from the community who are related to
these professions. The goal of this elementary level course is to
introduce the students to elastic situations necessary for
communication with their Hispanic
clients on an everyday basis.
We are in the process of advertising this course and we thought that
it would be a good idea if you could please pass along this
information to your students and staff/faculty members who might be
interested. I am attaching the flayer that we prepared to advertise
this class with this email. Also, if you know anyone from the
community (friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc) who might be
interested, please feel free to forward this information to those
people. We would really appreciate
your help with spreading the word about this course. Thank you very
