On Wednesday, 2/11,the Conservation Biology Discussion Group will meet in
105 Aiken from 12:15 to 1:15.
The title and topic of the talk are as follows:
Plant biocontrol and biotechnology: new strategies for greenhouse insect
management and plant growth in agriculture.
Colleen Armstrong, greenhouse manager at UVM, and Mary Tierney, associate
professor in the Botany dept, will discuss new approaches for dealing eith
insect management, disease resistance, and alternative uses of crops in
agriculture.
