A reminder to all that Dr. Michael Soule, co-founder of the Society for
Conservation Biology and president of The Wildlands Project will be
speaking tonight, Tuesday March 24th, at 7:30 PM in the UVM Billings
Student Center North Lounge. Dr. Soule's talk is called "Rewilding NOrth
America: The Morality and the Science." The presentation is sponsored by
the Greater Laurentian Wildlands Project and is free (donations
appreciated) and open to the public. Please don't miss this rare
opportunity to hear one the foremost thinkers in conservation biology here
at UVM.
Also Dr. Soule will be at tomorrow's conservation biology discussion group
meeting. Though he will not be making a formal presentation he will be
available to discuss his talk or anything else that you might want to talk
with him about. As usual, the discussion group will meet from 12:15-1:15 PM in
room 105 Aiken Building. Please join us for this opportunity to meet Dr.
Soule in a less formal setting. See you there!
