The Center for Cultural Pluralism presents:
*9500 Liberty
*
*Film Screening and Discussion with director Eric Byler
Oct. 12 at 7:30pm in Billings Lecture Hall (CC Theater) *
In honor of Latino Heritage Month, join us for a film screening and
discussion with director, Eric Byler. 9500 Liberty reveals the startling
vulnerability of a local government, targeted by national
anti-immigration networks using the internet to frighten and intimidate
lawmakers and citizens. Alarmed by a climate of fear and racial
division, residents form a resistance using YouTube videos and virtual
town halls, setting up a real-life showdown in the seat of county
government.
