Happy Friday!

Last night's meeting went really well, the recording and meeting minutes can be found on teams in case you missed it! We talked a bit about design and logistics for the Tanzania project and are also starting another local project possibly testing water quality/lead concentration in the lake. More info on that to come!

For next Thursday's meeting, we would like everyone to keep researching solar powered systems (off-grid), and a few specific items:
 •	Look up vids of solar panel mounting (brackets)
 •	Look into french university’s products / design, then create a rough template based on their template*
     •	Use their lightbulb wattage / lumens / etc. for design

*There are lots of resources on the internet (youtube) that explain equations you can use to make a rough design for the solar-powered lighting system. Most of the information you need to make these calculations can be found in the files tab on our general teams channel in the file called Lohada Orphanage, Arusha TZ.
It might be easier if our designs are scaled down to make calculations easier(use smaller/simpler numbers), but do whatever you are comfortable with! We got this :)
So excited to see what we all come up with! Have a great weekend and enjoy the warmer weather next week! Spring is coming...

<3 Jill
