Dear Friends,

I am presently studying sediments from Bay of bengal for major, trace and
rare elements. Currently we follow the convetional open digestion
technique for dissolution of marine sediments. We too have a microwave
sediment digestion system but we are facing some problems in complete
dissolution wrt to dissolution of marine sediments when it comes to heavy
metal and sediments with high organic carbon content. Could anybody
suggest some robust protocol for dissolution of marine sediments using
microwave. Also I would appreciate receiving information about any related
reprints.
