Dear Simon,

My name is Chris Reddy, one of the guys Alex Sessions mentioned in his email
to you. As for most of your questions about pyrolysis of chlorinated
compounds, Tom Burgoyne has done a series of experiments and has written rough
draft about some very interesting results. He may be slighlty delayed as he
just started a professorship at Oklahoma State. I believe he is teaching
freashmen chem this semester (hence, he may be swamped). Nevertheless, Tom is
the nuts and bolts guy you want to talk to.

As for me, I have been doing alot of online and offline stable isotope (Cl, H,
C, N) and radiocarbon compound-specific analysis of semi-volatile organic
contmaminats (i.e. PAHs, PCBs, etc). I just sent my first manuscript on Cl
isotopes in PCBs to Env. Sci and Tech. I have not heard from the editors.
Please keep in touch as I am interested in any of your results.

Good luck.

I will be in Europe for the next 2 weeks.

Bye,
Chris Reddy
