Hello group:

I'm getting extremely positive and often inconsistent (400 and above) 18O ir numbers for ethanol measured against CO tank we purchased from Air Liquide. I'm using HTC that follows GC separation with the liquid injection. Unfortunately, I just started the 18O work and don't have much experience with evaluating where this problem can be coming from (poorly characterized reference CO tank or HTC dysfunction)? Air Liquide is claiming that their tank 18O ir numbers are very solid (+2.2 VSMOW). Any advice will be highly appreciated!
