I would like to bring to the attention of the list the following two lectuership positions at the University of Plymouth. Post 1 (see advert below) could be be suitable for any number of research fields in stable isotope geochemistry.

Salary £24352 to £37521 pa - Lecturer/Senior Lecturer range

The School of Earth, Ocean and Environmental Sciences is seeking two enthusiastic and highly motivated Environmental Scientists to join our successful team involved in teaching and research in Environmental Science. Within our School there are opportunities to develop expertise in a wide range of environmental areas, but we are particularly seeking applicants with the following areas of expertise:

Post 1: An Environmental Scientist with expertise in terrestrial ecosystems, particularly in the context of interdisciplinary fieldwork. Specialisation in river catchment systems, and/or in climate change and global cycles would be particularly welcomed.

Post 2: An Interdisciplinary Environmental Scientist with expertise in industrial ecology and sustainable futures. Expertise in environmental management systems and environmental auditing, and/or in industrial pollution (sources, impacts, regulation) would be particularly welcomed.

You will have a PhD in Environmental Science or a related subject, and be able to provide clear evidence of a developing research profile. You will demonstrate a commitment to student learning and course development and will ideally already have experience of teaching at higher education level.
