Thanks to those who have responded to my last email. As a follow up to my
request for experience and advice on networking Finnigan instruments. The
dual boot option was an option I had already considered along with the
short falls mentioned by those who have responded. But it is nice to know
that this is an option.

Has anyone tried using PCTCP loaded on the computer running the
instrument??? This is something I have done with my PC based seismic
system but it is only running MSDOS and not Real32. I can access the files
on the seismic system over the ethernet with any Win or Mac based computer
via FTP. I was wondering if this setup would work on the Finnigan
instruments???

Any more input would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Cheers,

Dave
