Dear Chris,

Thanks for your fax. Indeed, THAT h-T relationship is rather obvious, but I am
still not sure that one can assume a correlation for clder-more humid periods in
the past. after all, it really all depends on air masses movements. Still we may
assume a correlation just for the purpose of the excercise, and see wher this
leads us.
