I wanted to call your attention to an upcoming conference that should be
of interest to many on the ISOGEOCHEM list serve. The Eighth Gordon
Conference on Catchment Science will be held July 17-22, 2005 at Colby
College in Waterville, Maine. This conference continues to be a prime
venue for international exchange of cutting-edge research in catchment
science. The conference theme this time is "Biogeochemical Cycles in a
Changing World: From Process to Practice", and will feature sessions on
disturbance, restoration, and long-term monitoring as well as a field trip
to catchment research sites in Acadia National Park. Visit the conference
web site at: http://www.grc.org/programs/2005/catch.htm for complete
information on the conference program, and how to register and submit an
abstract. Registration is currently open, and will remain so until the
date of the conference or until the limit of 135 persons is reached.
Thanks.---Doug Burns
