Hi Chris,
We just had a PAL, TCEA and Gasbench installed, so I'm no expert. However,
I may have a solution for you, if I properly understand your problem.
It is my understanding that Tray01 has to be the active tray in the PAL job
queue (at least when you plan on switching from one peripheral to the
other). So, you will need to rename the VT98 tray and the GB tray as
Tray01 each time you switch peripherals.
This means you need to have a properly configured (X,Y,Z coordinates, etc.)
tray to begin with.
Under Menu/F3/Setup/select the Objects menu.
Select Trays.
Select (or create) the VT98 tray and calibrate its coordinates in the same
fashion as you did for your Gasbench. Remember, it is a different
trayholder type (THldr1 I think) and type A.
When switching from the GB to the TC/EA, you will need to delete the Tray01
job from the job queue.
Then, go back into Menu/F3/Setup/Objects/Trays. If a Tray01 exists, I'd
copy it and rename it for a backup. Then, delete Tray01. Copy the GB tray
or the VT98 tray and name it Tray01.
At that point, the Tray01 should appear in your job queue. Go in and check
that it is referring to the proper tray (GB or VT98), and change your AS
method to the appropriate one.

I think that is the correct order of events...
