color:#1F497D">Thanks to those that replied to my original query
regarding thevacuum on my Delta V with needle valve open and closed.
It’s as Ithought. Now the follow up question:
color:#1F497D">
color:#1F497D">With needle valve open and source turned on both N2 and
Ar areoff-scale. With compressed air firing the appropriate valves as
normal,no immediately obvious signs of capillary breakage (both at the
NV and withinthe ConfloIV) and no sign of significant He wastage over
time (yes, it is onand flowing through Conflo reg), is the cause a leak
at the needle valve or isthere something else I haven’t considered.? I
have replacement parts for thevalve so if push comes to shove has anyone
any advice/protocols for replacingcomponents within the valve.
