Dear Dr. Jani,
we have used the catalysator-sticks since 1994 and still use the old ones,
so we really do not know how long they last.
The company who is delivering the sticks say that you should not use waters
with mercurychloride (for desactivation of bacterial growth).
The sticks can be cleaned with water and aceton and can be dried at 110
degree celsius.
For more information fax to the company:

Regards
Hans Friedrichsen
