Dear colleagues -
I am a relative novice to the field of SI applications to aquatic ecology
studies, and I'm gearing up for several pilot studies involving Great Lakes
trophic transfer problems. I've read much, and have a freezer full of both
archived and unprocessed fish at my disposal. (collaborations welcome!)
Does anyone have a detailed protocol that they follow / highly recommend
for the preparation of fish tissue (be it whole ground fish or specific
organ/muscle) for stable isotope (C,N) studies?
If it is (they are) published, could I please have the citation(s)?
Many thanks for your help.
