Dear Zach,
Because of difficulties with our machine shop (I miss the CRPG
facilities), I am planning to buy the Y-shaped reaction tube. Could you
please send me the address you use and how one describes the piece, and an
idea of the price. Have you made your sample holder out of solid gold yet?
None of that gold plating for the Swiss.
What was all that noise I heard the other week (I think it came
from Geneva) that the Americans were trying to dictate to the Europeans, or
at least the French, that nobody should be allowed to export cheese made
from non-pasturised milk. First I hope you have had sufficient European
experience to react against such a proposition, even if you had a bad
experience in Lyon or have not yet had time to develop your taste buds, and
secondly that you realise that the source of the last major food poisoning
from cheese a few years ago was from Swiss (that clean country) Vacherin
made from pasturised milk.
It is good weather for working here.
Have a good summer with the family, best regards and thanks in
advance for the info.
Simon
