Hi y'all,

During maintenance on one of our instruments, I noticed fine "dryer lint" glass wool in fittings where it shouldn't be. This means fine bits of wool have escaped its glass tube and ended elsewhere. I was thinking of using cotton cigarette filters on the ends of the glass tube as a way to keep those particulates from escaping but I'm sure the furnace (500 C) in which it sits could be an issue.. Is there a quartz wool version of those cotton cigarette filter tips? What are your thoughts?

Best,
Peter R
