Hi Nabil--
How many old filaments do you have lying about? Ok, so they are a
little thicker than needed.
There was a earlier discussion about lamp wire (7/5/07), and Rich Berger
suggested:
Scientific Instrument Services (http://www.sisweb.com/) has stainless steel
and beryllium copper in-line connectors which fasten with screws as well as
push-on connectors which are held on by friction.
Richard A. Berger
Washington University Medical School
SIS also carries wire.
good luck
