Dear Isopeople,

Chinese science and scientists represent very high level
and are well recognized around the world. Some of them are
our friends, teachers or colleagues. They are wellcome to Western
countries and always bring new ideas, high quality results and some
good spirit, spirit of an ancient, fascinating civilisation.

Hovewer, what we know from the reports of Amnesty International
and Human Rights Watch Asia is that basic human right are permanently
violated in China.

It is definitely NOT THE CHINESE SCIENTISTS, who are responsible
for :
- organized killing of female orphans,
- public executions,
- merciless tortures,
- verdicts without trials,
- rising number of crimes punishable by death,
- deliberate botching the executions to ensure that prisoners
were not yet dead when their organs were removed for transplantation,
- people detaining for the peaceful expression of their political and religious
beliefs, etc., etc.

We must not forget all theese facts, and we should express our opposition
somehow.

I dare to suggest you all reconsidering your participation in
ICOG9. Those of you who are determined to participate, should stand
out, as much as possible, against human rights violation.

With regards,
