Hi Tim,

What's this then? Is galloping inflation ripe in Hemel Hempstead? That's
almost twice what we paid. I've ordered replacement filaments late last
year and was quoted:

Filament for Finnigan Delta+XP (part number 1027920) - 287

Since this filament can be used in the Delta Advantage, I would assume
(here he goes again; hasn't learned from his mistakes) it should also
fit the Delta+XL.

However, if they are serious about this price, we'd better identify
somebody in the UK or on the continent who might be able to 'refurbish'
burnt filaments. This could become a nice little earner if Finnigan
continue to price themselves out of the market.

NB: Many thanks to you and Carolyn for helping us out with running the
AgNO3 samples for our PhD student. In the meantime, our system is up and
running again and we are currently analysing his latest samples.

Best regards,
