Man, if everything fails, try AutoIt, I am sure it can make your
autosampler work at the right time. Contact me in private if you wish more

A data transfer switch is used to change the communication from/to the GC with either one of the two samplers. The data aquisition is controlled/started via isodat 3.0. The system has been running since some weeks ago when I was changing from on-column injection by the VSP to PTV splittless injection by the combi pal (then i was also working on some errors with the PTV...)

Isodat is as usually "waiting for AS trigger", but after the autosampler injected a sample and the GC switches from "ready to inject" to "initial temp" isodat is not starting to measure, executing the IRMS method respectively. While the previous steps of starting a run, waiting for "GC ready" and starting the injection by the autosampler is executed.

The GC is connected to the autosamplers via the "autosampler signals" plug-in and to the GC isolink and a second detector (Thermo ISQ) via the "generic handshake" plug-in (Y-cable). The connections are as they used to be when the measurement setup was running properly.
