Updating thousands of desktops with the
encryption-capable client software will
surely take some time.

Slight "refinement"

TENS of thousands of desktops.

There are about 21,000 accounts on zoo.

At that scale, the challenge of updating
the desktop begins to pale with the task
of updating the minds behind the desktops.

(Reminds me of a favorite question from a
graduating senior a year or so ago - "This
web stuff is hard to learn, they didn't
teach it to us in CS3." "When you took
CS3, the web didn't exist.")
