To whom it may concern:
See the attached flyer for a description of the Fourth Annual
CyberSecurity in Education Conference, to be held July 25-28. This
is sponsored by VITA-Learn in partnership with Norwich University and
with the support of the Vermont National Guard Information Operations
Center.
Three days (July 25-27) will be hands on at the Vermont National
Guard Information Operations Center at Norwich University. There is
also an optional fourth day, to be held in the Orange North
Supervisory Union (Williamstown, Vermont).
The technical information is oriented towards PC and network
security. Most of the tools available are free and open source based.
The cost of the regular three day conference is $300 and includes
meals and materials. The fourth day is a hands-on "Make it and Take
It" session, where you can bring a computer and set up your own Open
Source system to run Snort, Nagios, or any of the other free tools
you see at the conference. The additional one-day session is $100.
Space is limited. There has already been a significant number who
have expressed interest. Please reserve your spot right away.
If you have questions let me know.
Thanks,
Paul
