Hi all,

Tonight (Thursday, 6/29/2006) we will be replacing the older Banner
production INB web/application server with two newer and much faster
machines.  Banner online sessions will now be divided ("load balanced")
between these two servers.

We expect these newer machines to provide dramatically improved response
time for Banner online, sometimes by a factor of 3 or 4 or better.

The standard "easy to remember" Banner online web address has not changed,
so please continue to access Banner using the following URL:

         http://www.uvm.edu/banner

Also, if you'd like to create a bookmark for Banner online, please use the
above address.
