--------------------------------------------------------

1:00 pm. My Neighbor Totoro (75 min) Perhaps the best
children's animation film ever made. Two sisters living
in the suburbs meet the woodland spirits living in the
fields around them.

2:50 pm. Kiki's Delivery Service (105 mon). Kiki, the
daughter of a witch and her black cat jiji, set up a
delivery service on her flying broom.

4:30 pm. Pokemon, The First Movie (75 min.) Most of us
have seen Ash and Pikachu, his pokemon (pocket monster)
companion on TV. This time they must battle a
bioengineered Meowtoo in order to save the world.

The films will be introduced by Bruce Ross, a board
member of the Japan-America Society and passionate
animation fan.
