Have you visited NTT Japan Window web site at<http://www.jwindow.net/> ??
The NTT Japan Window is a well organized information site on Japan with a
lot of categories and cute graphics! This site has links to
many other sites as well. This is the best site on Japan that I have
seen yet. Visit the site and check it out for yourself!

Also, for those of you who are learning to write Japanese, visit

        http://members.aol.com/write.japan/index.htm

The site gives you basic info. on Japanese language, and "a brush" shows
you how to write Japanese characters(hiragana, katakana, and kanji)
stroke by stroke.

Enjoy!
