To do this without moderation:

  1.  Use the PubMed option to convert your search results to a RSS feed
  2.  Use https://feedburner.google.com/ to convert to a HTML BuzzBoost that can be embedded into a webpage

DIfferent workflow if you want someone to moderate the PubMed results rather than automatically. One option for moderator is use a twitter account to moderate than embed that account on your web page.

Subject: Automatic PubMed alert as a url on a web site

Many of us no doubt use the alert capability in PubMed so that we are automatically sent updates to certain searches we have set up in our NCBI accounts.
A colleague has asked if it is possible to make this type of alert a link on our web page on a certain occupational safety topic we are continually researching. In this way, individuals in our group would be automatically updated to latest on the topic, without having to set up a search over again.

I have written NCBI support .
I am thinking, since the alerts are associated with an individual email, that this is impossible.
Thoughts?
