Hi Mandy,

It's been a few years, but I used to use Screencast-o-matic - https://screencast-o-matic.com/ for recording my screen while explaining what I was doing.

You could upload to YouTube or save as an MP4 file. I used to use YouTube for video editing, but that has changed a lot.

I had considered using Zoom at my current job (https://zoom.us/). You could set up a meeting then just record it without any attendees--I think.

Good luck!
Lori

Hello All,

I am seeking suggestions for FREE software to create videos demonstrating a library search.

Or is there some entirely new tool out there that would display information to a broad audience?

I need something I can pop into my work webpage, so social media will not work. Alas.

I look forward to all of your suggestions.

Mandy
