Addendum:

I just discussed this with our project librarian, who thinks it may be
related to use of Java.  We are worried what this implies for planned
addition of Java scripts for PubMed.

We have noted similar problems at some of or outreach sites, who don't have
Windows 98 or the latest and greatest in hardware (grant computers from
leass than 2 years ago...)
