Hello - the Friday Afternoon Tough Question of the Week.....

I have been tasked with locating nosocomial infection rates at the individual facility level. Any ideas?

If diagnosed by ICD-9, I can use the HCUP databases (the NIS on CD to which I have access).
If a DRG, I can use AHD.com.

However, I'm looking for any other resource that might provide this data, preferably those rates which cannot necessarily be linked to an ICD-9 code. I am aware of the VA Facilities, but am also interested in non-federal hospital facilities.

Please email me off-list, and I will summarize should I receive any responses.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards -
