there is a fairly good article in Medicine on the Net this month titled
Combating bad medical information on the Net
one of the quotes was interesting
"Peer review journals are important. But people also need a way to evaluate
information when they just come upon a site," ... "And even librarians and
medical professionals often have to cast a wider research net in order to
find material."
The article discusses the various attempts at evaluating Web sites and I
thought it a good summary
