I am starting a solo link-up effort in Louisiana. We had our first pilot conference call (three of us!) Friday afternoon and we structured it around Claire Joseph and Helen-Ann Brown Epstein's article in the January issue of the Journal of Hospital Librarianship: Proving your worth / Adding to your value. We decided that we are going to talk the last Friday of the month at 2 pm CST.
The three of us who spoke on Friday got so much energy and information from each other. Connecting professionally was like taking in a big gulp of cool fresh air.
If there is enough interest I am willing to expand it to a GoToMeeting call; if there's REALLY interest, I would be glad to help people hook up at regionally. Send me an email if meeting with other solos via phone or online formally or informally is attractive to you. Let me know if I can share your contact info with other solos.
