We're looking for standards/policies/guidelines about patients bringing home medical equipment with them for their hospital stay (specifically CPAP machines). I've tried searching PubMed, CINAHL and Google using terms "durable medical equipment", "hospitals", "home respiratory care", "equipment and supplies" with no luck. It seems like there should be a term for this but I haven't landed on it yet. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!
