What she said... I've visited the site and registered my displeasure with
the webmaster as well. At least I believe I did; I hit the "send" button
but got no confirmation that anything had gone out. A frustrating,
low-content-for-high-user-effort website.
I'm not a neophyte designer so I believe I know whereof I speak. I
designed and wrote the pages listed below and in fact the entire rest of
that site. It's obvious to me that no one involved in the design of the
MLA site had users' needs in mind.
