You might also take a look at the software available at SourceForge (sourceforge.net). I typed in "screen capture video audio" and came up with 200+ entries. You might find the perfect one there.

And now a plug for SourceForge: it's a huge repository of open-source software, a lot of which do the job of expensive proprietary software. Scan to PDF? Check out NAPS2. File transfer? Try FileZilla. SSH? How about PuTTY? I've never had a problem with malware, and a very paranoid computer security expert (that's why she's an expert) told me that SourceForge is a very safe site.

Screencast-o-matic is my favorite free video-capture software.



I have also successfully used Jing in the past, but it uses Adobe Flash, so

the parent company, TechSmith, is now recommending downloading and using

the "Launch Recorder" feature inside their Screencast product.
