POSITION:  Librarian/Trainer

The Alzheimer's Association has an exciting new position in the medical
library at its national headquarters in Chicago.  This position will be
responsible for developing databases, preparing catalogs of multi-media
information sources and for training of Alzheimer Association chapters
across the country to build local resource collections and information
services.

Requirements include an ALA-accredited MLS; experience in a medical library;
proficiency with building databases and spreadsheet applications in a
Windows/NT environment; experience in training professional audiences; and
the ability to work effectively with a diverse set of users with a wide
range of computer skills and experience.  The position also needs to be
comfortable using Dialog, Ovid, OCLC, Nexis, PubMed and other electronic
data systems.  Hiring range will be $42,000-50,000.

The Green-Field Library has a staff of 3 professional librarians and 1.2
technical support staff working in a small, highly automated library
